Volta Corporate is a registered agent based in Lomé. When you form a company with us, your dossier is handled by real people who walk it into the registry, the tax office and the bank in person — not a remote form-filling service.
The firm
Volta Corporate provides company formation, registered office (domiciliation), corporate banking and annual compliance in Togo, for international and regional clients. We are a Volta Equity company, based physically in Lomé — the point of the business is that we are here, on the ground, where the filings and the banks actually are.
That local presence is the difference behind our headline promise: we open your corporate bank account in person, rather than selling "assistance" and leaving you to it. It is also why we run the free Togo business register — the most complete open index of Togolese companies — as a public resource.
Our founder
Volta Corporate was founded by an American entrepreneur based in Lomé, with a background in finance and cross-border company structuring. He works across two systems that rarely meet in one advisor: the international side (US and offshore structures, banking, payments) and the West African side (OHADA law, the WAEMU tax framework, the CFA zone). That combination is the reason clients come to us for Togo–US and Togo–WAEMU structures rather than to a generic offshore mill.
How we work with partners
Some steps of a formation must be done by licensed professionals — notarization, certain legal opinions, statutory audits. For these we work with a Lomé notary and vetted legal and accounting partners, and we tell you plainly which parts of your engagement they handle. You always know who is doing what.
Standing and honesty
We are careful about what we claim. Togo is on neither the FATF grey or black list nor the EU list of non-cooperative tax jurisdictions; the CFA franc's fixed euro peg is maintained by the BCEAO. We do not sell zero-tax paper companies or secrecy — we build ordinary operating and holding structures that a client's own accountant can review and defend. If Togo is not the right jurisdiction for your case, we say so.
